This position teaches within the Sport, Health Promotion and Nutrition specializations of the Bachelor of Applied Science. The ideal candidate will have expertise in health, exercise, and sport psychology and be able to teach across Levels 4–7 in areas such as nutrition, health promotion, and sport science. The ideal candidate will also have an established or developing research profile and track record. Responsibilities include developing course materials, assessing student work, contributing to research, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Appointment to a Senior Academic Staff Member position is subject to the candidate having relevant professional experience and qualifications, including a Level 5 Adult Teaching qualification or an equivalent credential.
* A postgraduate qualification with emphasis on health, sport, and exercise psychology or a related discipline
* Related work experience in fields relevant to position. Those with a recent postgraduate qualification may be considered for this role.

* Digital literacy including – competence using Microsoft office products
