Service Care Solutions is proud to partner with a respected charity delivering vital substance misuse services across South Yorkshire. This organisation supports people in the criminal justice system through timely, person-centred interventions that encourage recovery and reduce reoffending.
We are recruiting a dedicated and motivated Criminal Justice Case Manager to join the team and help change lives.
The Role: You will work directly with individuals referred via police custody suites and courts, conducting assessments and delivering brief interventions. This role involves frontline support, care coordination, and multi-agency collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments around substance misuse issues and risk evaluations for individuals in custody or on bail
* Develop and implement tailored care plans
* Deliver brief interventions and harm reduction advice
* Refer service users into appropriate treatment pathways
* Support clients through the early stages of recovery and encourage engagement
* Attend court and custody environments across South Yorkshire
* Work closely with partner agencies and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
* Maintain accurate case notes and contribute to reporting
* Promote access to housing, health, and support services
Essential Requirements:
* A relevant degree such as Criminology, Social Work OR Diploma in Substance Misuse or equivalent
* Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification
* Experience working within substance misuse, criminal justice, or related fields
* Understanding of safeguarding, risk assessment, and care planning
