Forklift Driver
Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver for our client based in Newport. Immediate starts are available following a successful interview process.
Our client is a leading waste management company. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a hands-on role.
Your role as a Forklift Driver
Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
Loading and unloading vehicles using forklift equipment
Transporting goods to and from storage areas
Assisting with picking orders using manual pick sheets when required
Handling items weighing between 15-25kg where necessary
Performing quality control checks on goods
Booking items in and out of the warehouse accurately
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
Requirements
Valid and in-date Forklift Licence (Counterbalance or Reach preferred)
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
Strong understanding of health & safety procedures related to forklift use
Good level of English and communication skills
Ability to complete basic stock checks and documentation accurately
Physically fit and capable of supporting manual handling when required
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Available to work part-time weekday shifts
Pay & Shifts
£12.98 per hour
Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
30-minute unpaid break
