Senior Project Manager
What does a successful Project Manager do?
At Fiserv, our Project Managers meticulously scope, plan, and deliver projects and initiatives to meet specified business needs. They oversee resources, potentially from several areas and third parties, to achieve agreed cost, time, and quality objectives. A successful Project Manager at Fiserv ensures the smooth and successful progression and delivery of projects, aligning them with our clients' financial services needs.
What You Will Do
* Define the project brief and set client expectations regarding deliverables, plans, and management.
* Establish appropriate project governance structures in line with Fiserv's methodologies.
* Assist the client and sponsor in obtaining authorizations and sign-offs on the Business Case.
* Document the overall project approach, including phasing strategy and build versus buy options.
* Develop estimates of resources, costs, and durations, creating a high-level project schedule.
* Facilitate development of all project plans and schedules according to the project brief.
* Manage and track the overall project plan, controls, budget, and work assignments.
* Report project status to stakeholders, organize governance meetings, and manage project risks and issues.
* Ensure accurate time tracking and budget management by project team members.
* Foster productive working relationships and build cohesive cross-organization project teams.
* Refine resource, cost, and duration estimates as the project progresses.
* Manage proposed changes in scope, schedule, or budget with key stakeholders.
* Ensure clean, structured, and supported transitions of projects to BAU.
What You Will Need To Have
* Significant proven Project Management experience, preferably within the Consumer Finance industry.
* Educated to degree-level in Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Marketing, or equivalent military experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and English proficiency.
* History of matrix-managing others successfully for medium to large projects.
* Proficiency in MSOffice products, especially WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and MS-Project.
* Ability to manage in a virtual team environment with effective time management skills.
What Would Be Great To Have
* Multi-lingual, multi-country projects, and business travel experience.
* Considerable experience with VisionPLUS.
* Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* PRINCE2 certification.
* SME/Business Analyst experience in areas such as Regulatory, Compliance, Payment Schemes, Card Personalization, and Consumer Finance.
