This is a part-time, temporary general teaching assistant position – an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for education and a desire to support pupils both academically and personally across Key Stages 3 to 5. Key Responsibilities • Support students in-class and in small groups under the guidance of subject teachers and SEN staff • Provide personalised assistance to pupils with additional needs or learning barriers • Assist with preparation of learning materials, classroom management, and general admin • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment across a range of subjects • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, teaching staff, and pastoral team Ideal Candidate • Experience working with children or young people (school-based or equivalent) • A caring, adaptable, and proactive approach to student support • Strong literacy and numeracy skills • A genuine interest in supporting secondary education • A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential This is more than a support role — it’s a chance to be part of a thriving educational community where your contribution is truly valued.
