About the Role
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
Our stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with a wide variety of shift patterns. If you are looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, we will work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
Your responsibilities include:
* Spending time accurately assembling and processing prescriptions.
* Driving awareness of all extra services we offer in Pharmacy (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews).
* Supporting the Pharmacist with delivery and record keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes, etc.).
* Developing an understanding of the strict Standard Operating Procedures and working to them, as customers will expect nothing less.
* Collecting customers’ prescriptions from their doctor’s surgery on their behalf and bringing them to the store ready for collection.
* Completing an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, then training as a Dispensing Assistant.

* You are naturally friendly, highly organised, and eager to get stuck in.
* You work well with your team to deliver great results.
* You have good computer skills, strong attention to detail and communicate well with customers.
* You love problem‑solving and are passionate about helping people, caring about giving customers a great healthcare experience.
