Job Description
3. Oversee the development and implementation of IT systems and infrastructure.
4. Ensure IT strategies align with the company's operational and business objectives.
5. Manage the IT department, including team leadership and performance monitoring.
6. Identify and address potential risks to the IT systems and data security.
7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
8. Negotiate with vendors and manage IT budgets effectively.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
10. Monitor advancements in technology to ensure the organisation remains competitive.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of IT should have:
11. A strong background in IT Leadership within any of the following; B2B Wholesale/Distribution or Retail, Manufacturing, Industrial & Logistics sectors.
12. Proven track record in Systems and IT architecture implementation / improvements.
13. Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and ERP systems.
14. Knowledge of current technology trends and cybersecurity best practices.
15. Fundamental understanding across ITIL, Agile, Scrim and Prince2.
16. Ability to translate business requirements into technical / easy to use software solutions.
17. Experience in leading small teams and managing cross-functional projects.
18. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

19. Negotiable salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000 per annum.
