The Social Media Officer will play a key role in shaping Luton’s future by engaging audiences across all platforms and supporting the Luton Rising brand.
Responsibilities
* Develop, manage and promote Luton Rising’s social media, planning, producing and scheduling high‑impact campaigns to drive awareness and engagement.
* Serve as the brand guardian—create compelling content at sponsored events and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
* Track and report on campaign and event impact, presenting insights to senior leadership and the board.
* Act as a marketing advisor—support internal communications and ensure the brand remains positively represented.
* Manage the photo and video asset library, ensuring data protection compliance.
* Participate in events, including lifting gear and attending evening/weekend activation days to bring the brand to life.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in communications or marketing, especially in social media content and video creation/editing.
* Strong skills in compelling visual and written content, campaign scheduling, and brand consistency.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and reporting abilities—comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently across competing priorities.
