Senior PHP Developer
Location- Chorley Area
Salary: Up to £70K
Are you a Senior Software Engineer looking to use your skills for the good of the planet? I mean of course you are. But you rarely see roles that have can such an impact, right?
We're partnering with a leading software house specialising in the energy sector, driving innovation with products that support their clients to move to cleaner energy solutions, improve efficiency, and of course save money. After several successful product launches, the company is continuing its growth and looking to expand its software engineering team.
Why this role?
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge software products that are central to sustainable energy initiatives. It’s a full stack role, and although naturally you might be more focused on front or back end, adaptability and a genuine desire to learn will fit right in!
Key Responsibilities:
* Build cloud first software solutions for the energy sector, using technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Typescript, Node.js, React, GraphQL and AWS.
* Focus on high-quality code and best practices, with a strong emphasis on Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing clean, maintainable code.
* Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-driven environment within the team.
* Collaborate on exciting Greenfield projects, with ample opportunities for career growth and leadership responsibilities.

* Highly Competitive salary: £55,000 – £70,000, depending on experience (whether you’re an established Senior/Lead Engineer or looking to take your next step).
