Care Worker
As a Care Worker, you will support older people with daily routines and wellbeing, ensuring residents feel comfortable, respected and cared for. You will work alongside colleagues to deliver consistent, person‑centred support in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
* Support residents with personal care and daily routines
* Assist with mobility and help residents move safely around the home
* Support residents during meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration
* Promote wellbeing through conversation and meaningful activity
* Maintain a clean and comfortable environment for residents
* Update care records and report changes in wellbeing
* Work closely with colleagues and wider health professionals
* Work on a rota that includes weekends
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a dependable and compassionate individual who values respectful, person‑centred care. Previous care experience is helpful but not essential as training will be provided. You will be willing to learn, contribute to a team environment and maintain high standards of care. Basic IT skills are required to record information accurately.
You will be required to join the PVG Scheme and register with the SSSC, or be willing to do so. If you do not already hold an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, you will be supported to achieve this qualification. This role requires Christian faith and the ability to work within and uphold our Christian Ethos, an Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
