We're looking for a Client Service Advisor to join our Food Client Services team in Chatteris. This is an entry-level opportunity and a great fit if you enjoy speaking with customers, solving problems, and keeping things organised we'll provide support and training to help you succeed.
About the Position
Hours per week: 40
Contract: Full Time Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday 08:00-1800
The Client Service Advisor provides proactive client service support, acting as a key link between customers, Account Managers, and internal teams across Food & Pharmaceutical.
The Day to Day
* Be a friendly, professional first point of contact for key clients (phone and email)
* Support client onboarding and system maintenance, ensuring accurate records and setup
* Provide support and training to clients on the ALS online system
* Monitor turnaround targets and the progress of client results, escalating issues where required
* Support service delivery through SLAs, client satisfaction surveys, and complaint logging/follow-up
* Maintain pricing and support invoice query investigations to enable timely payments
* Provide shared inbox support and complete ad-hoc administration as need
What We're Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who brings strong customer interaction skills and a proactive mindset. We're particularly keen to hear from you if you have experience in customer-facing roles (for example retail, hospitality, contact centre, office reception, or customer service administration).
Essential Skills, Experience & Knowledge
* Excellent communication skills with internal/external clients across multiple sites
* Proactive approach to work; self-motivated and resourceful
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Knowledge of customer service principles and practice
* Knowledge of internal IT systems/databases
