My client are a long established and successful business basing in Nottingham. They are seeking an experienced customer service professional to join their team on a permanent basis. Customer Service Administrator - Key Responsibilities Provide timely and professional responses to all customer enquiries received via email or telephone. Manage the full lifecycle of sales orders, ensuring accurate processing from initiation through to completion. Build and maintain positive customer relationships, offering support and guidance whenever required. Process equipment returned for service, calibration/measurement, or repair. Prepare quotations for any remedial work associated with service orders. Coordinate and schedule on-site customer visits for installations and training. Manage and process international payment methods in accordance with company procedures. Liaise with freight forwarders and courier services to meet delivery timelines and requirements. Produce export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Prepare and submit customer invoices via paper, electronic, or portal-based systems. Compile customs documentation in compliance with current HMRC regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the CRM system. Administer distributor commission processes. Collaborate with sales, production, and administrative teams as needed to support business operations. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement across all duties and processes. Perform any additional tasks deemed appropriate by the Line Manager. Customer Service Administrator - The Candidate Demonstrated experience in a customer service or customer-facing administrative role Proficient computer skills, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Strong literacy and numeracy capabilities. Clear, polite, and effective communication skills, including experience working with international customers. Positive, proactive, "can-do" attitude. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. INDX
