Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor Location: Dinnington (S25) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Do you enjoy supporting young people and helping them develop positive behaviour and confidence in school? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support / Mentor to work with schools in Dinnington (S25), supporting students who require additional behavioural and emotional guidance. As a Behaviour Support / Mentor, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to help students manage their behaviour, build resilience, and stay engaged with their learning in a supportive and structured environment. Main Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with behavioural needs. Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop self-regulation skills. Support teachers in maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment. Build positive relationships with students to support their emotional wellbeing. Monitor student progress and report concerns or improvements to staff. Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams to support student development. Requirements of Behaviour Support / Mentor: Previous experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs, is desirable. Strong communication and behaviour management skills. A patient, supportive, and resilient approach. Ability to build positive relationships with students. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
