Job Description
* Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting systems.
* Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow effectively.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for review.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and financial regulations.
* Assist with payroll processing and related documentation.
* Liaise with internal departments to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
* Provide general support to the accounting and finance team as required.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar role within the retail industry.
* Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial principles.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
* A relevant qualification in accounting or finance (preferred but not essential).
