Design Project Manager Birmingham - Curzon Station £75,,000 per annum plus package dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced and driven Design Project Manager (Design PM) to join the team in Birmingham, supporting the delivery of the landmark HS2 Curzon Station project. This is a pivotal role where you will lead and coordinate all aspects of design on behalf of the Lead Design Manager, ensuring seamless integration, compliance, and delivery across a complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programme. Responsibilities: - Lead and track detailed design programmes from IDC through to IFC stages - Manage and control the overall design programme, including change management - Deliver clear, dashboard-driven reporting and escalate risks/issues proactively - Coordinate closely with HS2 Design PM to ensure aligned communication - Oversee work package deliverables, including reviews, approvals, and progress tracking - Ensure timely production and management of TIDPs and MIDPs through assurance processes - Support development of MEP and fit-out design deliverables - Promote a collaborative, safety-first culture aligned with project objectives - Assist in maintaining and updating the Design Management Plan (DMP) - Manage design-related costs, risks, opportunities, and change control About You: You are a confident communicator and experienced design leader, comfortable operating at both project and board level. You thrive in complex environments and bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
