Our Engineers and Consultants support some of the most innovative energy projects across the UK and Ireland; providing design, intellectual, and engineering services to developers, investors, and owner-operators.
We have over 175 employees operating from our offices in Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, and Glasgow. As the business grows, we are now looking to extend our team by recruiting a civil/structural engineer based in our Stockport, Greater Manchester office.
What we are looking for:
* A good bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a closely related discipline
* Chartered membership of IEMA, CIWEM, or similar, or actively working towards this
* Project management experience with skills in delivering projects on time and within budget
* Experience with environmental permitting and compliance
* Understanding of environmental law in the UK, EU, and internationally, and its practical application
* Experience in producing, reviewing, and delivering technical reports and environmental models for government agencies and private clients
* Effective interfacing with clients, government agencies, and the public
* Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to travel within the UK, Ireland, and occasionally further afield
