Director of Business Development - Technology Services (ERP / CRM / HRIS)
A high-impact opportunity for a commercially minded leader to shape and drive growth within a leading advisory and technology services firm. Looking for a strategic Director of Business Development to take ownership of the full commercial lifecycle, from go-to-market strategy through to complex deal structuring and contract negotiation.
You’ll work closely with practice leaders, operations and delivery teams to develop and execute commercially sound proposals across enterprise technology domains, including ERP, CRM and HR systems. If you’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, managing proposal governance, and developing pricing strategies that balance profitability and value, this is your stage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive commercial strategy and new business development across key sectors (e.g. energy, finance, healthcare, tech)
* Lead tender responses, pricing models, and contract negotiations
* Support GTM execution and proposal development in partnership with the Practice Lead
* Oversee commercial governance, reporting, and pipeline forecasting
* Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for growth and upsell
What They are Looking For:
* 7+ years in a business development, consulting, or commercial role in tech services
* Proven experience in enterprise solutions: ERP, CRM, HRIS
* Strong commercial modelling, negotiation and proposal leadership
* Deep understanding of UK technology services and professional services delivery
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
