A Lloyd's Syndicate is seeking a Compliance Manager to cover a period until January 2027.
Pro-rata salary will be £100,000.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
1. Provide full Compliance and Regulatory advice and function to the Managing Agency and the Syndicate.
2. Ensure Submissions to Lloyd's and other regulators are made in a timely manner and ensure that all parties within the company are aware of deadlines through the operation and oversight of the Company Timetable.
3. Oversee the preparation of Compliance owned regulatory returns.
4. Support the Head of Compliance in the delivery of the annual Compliance Plan.
5. Complaints management including liaising with the claim's teams, coverholders/ TPAs, Lloyd's and the Financial Ombudsman Service as appropriate.
6. Managing and overseeing the development of systems and controls such as sanctions monitoring, financial crime checking, and breach reporting.
7. Undertaking Compliance reviews of new/ renewal delegated authorities meeting the high-risk conduct and financial crime triggers.
8. Provide advice and guidance to the business managers to enable them to understand the regulatory implications of existing business and any new business initiatives and changes. This will include participation in business projects as required.
