About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Upgrade Coordinator to support the delivery of a University-wide Windows 11 upgrade project. This is a key role within the Customer Experience team, combining project coordination, customer engagement, and administrative support.
The Upgrade Coordinator will ensure the smooth rollout of compatible laptops and desktops across staff and lab environments, liaising directly with end-users, planning workloads for technicians, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
* Arrange and schedule laptop and desktop replacements, ensuring minimal disruption to staff.
* Coordinate daily workloads for the technical upgrade team.
* Produce reports and updates for stakeholders.
* Liaise with asset management to ensure availability of equipment.
* Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow and manage customer follow-up.
* Suggest improvements for processes and service delivery.
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Strong organisational and coordination skills.
* Experience in an administrative or IT support coordination role.
* Confidence using IT systems and software applications.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly.
* Experience in producing reports and summarising data.
* A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
