Client Name: NHS Ayrshire & Arran
Role: Locum Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Rates: £100 - £125 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts: Ideally 3‑4 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and / or Fridays)
Location: Ailsa Hospital (based at Ayr)
Consultant or experienced SAS doctor (Section 22 approved) to undertake inpatient and community role in South Ayrshire. No on‑call requirements, ward review twice a week, 2 OPCs. Potential extension after the 3‑month period.

What We’re Looking For – Essential
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree
* MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent
* Full GMC registration with entry on the Specialist Registration for Psychiatry
* S22 Approval status in place
* S12 Approval status in place
* Approved Clinician (AC)
* A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
* UK Right to Work, with Locations Available
