We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate should be a team player, possess excellent communication skills, and have a friendly and professional demeanor. A strong work ethic, passion for patient care, and confidence in dental nursing are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting the dentist during dental procedures, including general dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery.
* Preparing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment for use.
* Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of the dental surgery and treatment areas.
* Sterilizing instruments and equipment following established protocols.
* Providing chairside assistance to the dentist during treatments and procedures.
* Developing dental X-rays.
* Accurately recording patient information and treatment plans in dental records.
* Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
* Managing and maintaining dental supplies and inventory.
* Maintaining strict compliance with infection control protocols and occupational health and safety standards.
* Scheduling and managing patient appointments effectively.
* Collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
* Demonstrating a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients.
* Assisting with front desk duties, such as answering phone calls and handling patient inquiries.
Requirements:
* Minimum qualification as a Dental Nurse or relevant certification.
* Previous experience as a Dental Nurse is mandatory.
* Ideally experienced in implant nursing, sedation and orthodontics, but not mandatory
* Strong knowledge and understanding of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
* Proficient in dental radiography and dental software.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Friendly and approachable demeanor with patients and colleagues.
* Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
* High level of professionalism and ethics.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

* Experience in oral surgery and implant dentistry is a plus.
