Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring all incidents are resolved per procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.
What you’ll do:
* Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
* Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
* Action Service Requests.
* Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering groups, and other service providers.
* Manage Incident tickets, providing regular updates.
* Organise traffic management, coordinating with traffic management providers, regional control, and field resources.
* Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
* Coordinate with utility companies during power loss issues.
Who you are:
You should have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with people at all levels.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
