About the Role: Deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 4 students, focusing on developing their skills in reading, writing, and critical analysis. Plan and deliver lessons that incorporate a variety of literary texts and writing styles. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback. Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies within the English department. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as book clubs and writing workshops, promoting student engagement and fostering a love of literature. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English skills and perspectives into the wider curriculum. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in English Literature and Language. Experience teaching English to Key Stage 4 students, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate boys. A strong understanding of literary analysis and writing techniques.
