Packing PCA Operator
We are on the hunt for a Packing PCA Operator to join our team at Castleford on a permanent basis.
Within this role you will work as a member of the warehouse team to receive, store, pick, stack and despatch raw materials and finished goods to a consistent high quality and in a safe, efficient and effective manner.

Hours of Work:
Alternating shift pattern (40 hours)
Week 1: 06:00 - 14:00
Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00
Our mix that awaits you:
- Responsible of the smooth running of the PCA
- Supervising pallets being created and sent out to the warehouse
- Ensuring targets are reached and a good turnaround of stock is achieved
- Accurately replenishing goods
- Adhering to truck safety on pre-shift checks
- The use of the BDE / M3 scanning system
- Moving goods within the department
- Replenishing pallets as required by departments
- The correct use of the compactor
- Unloading of empty CHEP pallets
- Replenishing the PCA with empty CHEP pallets
- Carrying out banksman duties as required
Ingredients that you bring with you:
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience isn’t essential however may be beneficial
- Awareness and knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Good communication skills; both written and verbal
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- A reliable and supportive team player
