Job Summary
This role is part of the Training and Development Department who are responsible for delivering Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA) to all staff working within Mental Health and Learning disability Division. As a PMVA Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering training and ensuring staff are competent. You will be part of a team with one other full‑time trainer as well as a part‑time trainer. The successful candidate should have a good understanding of using computers, iPads, Microsoft 365 and be willing to undertake 3‑week training which can take place either in England or Wales. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver face‑to‑face PMVA training to all clinicians working within Mental Health and Learning Disability Division ensuring staff are competent and confident in the use of PMVA.
* Regular data entry.
* Data verification and auditing.
* Tracking training progress, organising, and categorising data.
* Creating and updating spreadsheets, data visualisation and reporting.
* Communicate with key personnel from clinical and managerial backgrounds to help maintain PMVA compliance and its benefits to the Division.
* Complete post‑training documentation.
* Review, update Excel sheet, analyse, and provide feedback to the incident reporter on RL Datix incident reports.
* Generate PMVA monthly compliance statistics for the wards and senior management.
* Develop and create training materials to support various training in department programmes.
* Generate a report to my line manager regarding Restrictive Practice.
