Stratum Reservoir (UK) Ltd is part of the wider Stratum Reservoir group. Today, 5 employees are working at our Northwich office, collaborating closely with our team in Norway, where 110 employees are currently based across Stavanger, Sandnes, and Trondheim. As Department Manager, you will play a central role in bridging collaboration between the UK and Norwegian teams.

We are now looking to hire for the following position:
Department Manager
Work tasks:
* Lead and support a team of 5 employees with Geoscience/Geoscientist backgrounds.
* Organize personnel, equipment and materials in the most productive and cost-effective manner to meet activity requirements.
* Responsible for personnel - recruitment, training, work allocation, employee follow-up, etc.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the region.
* Prepare department budget - total revenue, revenue per customer, CAPEX, COGS, personnel costs and all other OpEx costs.
* Follow-up on QHSSE initiatives.
* On the job tasks for Sedimentology and Petrography work on behalf of clients
Qualifications:
* Previous management and leadership experience is preferred but those with a solid experience in organising and delivering integrated geoscience projects, with strong leadership potential will also be considered.
* The candidate must have a solid working understanding of broader geoscience workflows, particularly the design, implementation and execution of petrographic analysis techniques and work programmes and their integration into other sedimentological datasets.
