The Abstract Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established Logistics company in Leamington Spa. We are looking for hardworking, enthusiastic colleagues who are willing to work long term with the opportunity to gain a full-time contract. Previous order picking experience is required - using RF Scanners & paper picking. Shift Hours as a Warehouse Operative: Fixed AM Shift 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday 10:30 - 19:30 Tuesday and Tuesday One hour of unpaid lunch -the lunch break can be split as convenient under agreement with Team Leader, as 1 x 1 hour OR 2 x 30 mins OR 1 x 30 mins, 2 x 15 mins. Flex required from time to time, start an hour earlier, or stay an hour later, depending on the customer requirements. Pay Rates for Warehouse Operative: £12.30 per hour £18.45 per hour Overtime paid after 40 hours - time & a half rate. Opportunity to gain a full-time contract after 12 weeks Duties as a Warehouse Operative in Leamington Spa: Order picking and packing using pick sheets and RF scanners Achieving daily productivity and accuracy targets Checking customer orders to ensure 100% accuracy Stock checking and stock put-away Supporting warehouse operations with the movement of stock and pallets Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving products to storage locations Preparing and pulling products for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and product type Loading outbound vehicles efficiently and safely Ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage or contamination Reporting quality issues and variances promptly Operating MHE (where applicable) safely and in line with prescribed procedures Performing picking, receiving, put-away, and loading using RF equipment Assisting with physical inventory counts Carrying out equipment checks and inspections as per process Reporting equipment faults or performance issues Working independently using own initiative with a proactive approach Maintaining high attention to detail at all times Follow the direction of the Team Leader and/or Warehouse Manager with regards to performance within the warehouse.
