About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our quirky coffee and wine shop. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere, enjoys working closely with a small team, and has a passion for great coffee, quality wine, and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the coffee and wine shop
Create, manage, and maintain staff rotas
Monitor stock levels and complete ordering
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards
Manage bookings and customer enquiries
Support and train staff in café and barista duties
Maintain high service standards and a warm, friendly environment
Use initiative to solve problems and keep operations running smoothly
Bring creativity to the role generating new ideas, events, or offerings that attract customers and grow the business
Experience creating and managing social media content to promote the business and events
Build strong relationships with customers and the local community
About You
Experience in a café, coffee shop, bar, or similar hospitality environment
Confident barista skills (or willingness to learn quickly)
Strong organisational skills, especially with staff scheduling
Comfortable taking bookings and managing customer flow
Creative thinker with the ability to bring fresh ideas to life
Able to use your own initiative and work independently when needed
Friendly, personable, and passionate about delivering great service
A natural leader who can motivate and support a small team
