What you will do
* Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with dysphagia and provide specialised treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.
* Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care and explore innovative approaches to therapy.
* Implement and review communication strategies for patients to ensure optimal service delivery and improved client outcomes.
* Offer educational sessions for caregivers and staff to enhance understanding and management of dysphagia and communication disorders.
* Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with the standards and policies of the NHS and your professional body.
Requirements
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy with HCPC registration.
* Demonstrated experience and training in dysphagia management and adult communication disorders.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a community‑based team and deliver specialist SLT input.
