Local CDL A Truck Driver $35/hr Seabrook, NH
Estimated Weekly: $2,100 - $2,450
TransForce is seeking full-time CDL Class A drivers in Seabrook, NH. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $35/hr, with overtime available after 40 hours per week.
Schedule:
* Monday through Saturday
* Initial 90-day period requires a 5-day workweek; option to transition to a 4-day schedule thereafter.
* Shifts typically last 12-14 hours, starting at 4:00 AM.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver groceries to a mix of independent and national grocery stores, as well as schools and hospitals.
* Handle 12-14 stops per day, covering approximately 130 miles.
* Operate 28-36 ft dual-temperature zone tractor-trailers.
* Unload freight using a ramp and two-wheeler; average load consists of 660 cases.
Training:
* Three-day in-house training covering classroom instruction and yard maneuvers.
* Four to five weeks of on-the-road training with experienced drivers.
Requirements:
* Valid Class A CDL.
* Minimum of 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience
* Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
* Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) required
* Experience with touch freight and ramp unloading preferred
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory Saturdays
