GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Alternative Provision Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking setting in Nottingham. Role Responsibilities of Alternative Provision Teacher:
* Plan and deliver personalised lessons that support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
* Teach across a range of subjects, adapting materials to meet individual learning needs.
* Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for pupils who require alternative provision.
* Promote resilience, independence, and confidence in learners.
* Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and external agencies to ensure coordinated support and effective provision.
What You’ll Bring as an Alternative Provision Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching in Alternative Provision, PRU, SEMH, or similar environments.
* The ability to engage students through creative, flexible, and trauma-informed practice.
* Strong communication, behaviour management, and relationship-building skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
