Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking individual to join Wolseley Medical Centre in a dual role as a Health Care Navigator and Secretary, working across both the Reception Team and the Administrative Team. This is a hybrid position, providing vital support to both the reception team and the administrative team. The successful candidate will be expected to balance patient-facing duties with a range of administrative and secretarial responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Reception / Health Care Navigation: Act as the first point of contact for patients.
* Reception / Health Care Navigation: Provide care navigation by signposting patients to the most appropriate service or clinician.
* Reception / Health Care Navigation: Deliver high-quality customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.
* Reception / Health Care Navigation: Manage appointment bookings and patient enquiries.
* Secretarial / Administrative: Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the multidisciplinary team.
* Secretarial / Administrative: Process electronic and paper-based information accurately and in a timely manner.
* Secretarial / Administrative: Liaise with internal team members and external agencies, including hospitals and community services.
* Secretarial / Administrative: Use the electronic referral service (ERS) and assist with tasks related to referrals, correspondence, and other administrative processes.
