The Switchboard Services team play a vital role in patient care via effective communication and has a commitment to deliver accurate communication in the right place, at the right time ensuring high standard & responsive care.
You will be well supported by a Business Support Officer and will receive full training in all aspects of this, multi-skilled role by our department Trainer.

Main duties of the job
* Staff management
* Management of Telephony and Multiple Paging Systems
* Management of Clinical Emergency Alert Response
* Work closely with Switchboard seniors, Health Records Managers, Directorate Teams and clinicians
* Ensure teams work in accordance with Health Board and departmental policies and procedures
* Provide support to both staff and managers as required
* Analyse and record Switchboard Data
* Work closely with Emergency Planning ensuring accurate first Responder actions in Major Incident alerts

The ability to speak Welsh is Essential for this role, or willingness to undertake training as required by the post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
