Event Sales Executive, Full‑time, Permanent, Brighton, UK
We’re hiring! Sales Executive to join the team on one of our most successful show portfolios. Consisting of two live exhibitions in London and Manchester plus an online content hub showcasing the latest tech and innovations within their space; this internationally recognized brand attracts a combined audience of over 23,000 each year.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious salesperson looking to develop their career within a forward‑thinking events company.
You must be confident at selling on the phone and face‑to‑face using a consultative approach; communication and organisation skills are a must.
The Role
* Account management to develop and maintain strong client relationships with key clients
* Cultivating new business leads
* Attending relevant industry trade shows across the UK
* Hitting individual and team sales targets
* Proactively pitching sponsorship opportunities
* Collaboration with other departments such as operations, marketing, and finance to ensure delivery of client requirements
* Contributing to content ideas for sales emails
* Developing knowledge of the competitive landscape
* Social media support and posts across Facebook and LinkedIn
* Working with Salesforce to maintain the sales pipeline
* Admin and organisation skills essential
* Working closely with the Event Manager and Portfolio Director to build a successful event
Your Profile
* 1–2 years of dedicated sales experience
* Experience within the events and exhibition industry (not essential)
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail
* Hands‑on, positive attitude and a good team player
