Procurement Policy & Governance Manager opportunity working for a London based Public Sector organisation, Salary £60.5k+ - benefits include excellent pension, hybrid working (3 days in office) with the potential for compressed hours.
This is a great opportunity to deliver innovative organisational-wide procurement processes and governance that are Procurement Act 23 compliant and maximise commercial best practice. Through building wide internal and external stakeholder networks, the successful candidate will enhance areas such as social value delivery, system / process efficiencies and organisational wide training / development.
You will ideally have the following skills / experience :-
* Knowledge of UK Public Sector Procurement Law (PA23) and the ability to interpret legal updates and action appropriately
* Demonstrable knowledge of innovative procurement practices, systems and tools
* An understanding of Social Value, modern slavery and London living wage from a commercial / procurement perspective
* The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across a wide community
* Project management experience would be desirable
* A law / legal background would be desirable
* Degree (or equivalent) qualified
