Summary:
The Promoter Assistant provides essential administrative and logistical support to the Promoter/Senior Promoter in the planning, coordination, and execution of live music events. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including artists, venues, ticketing teams, marketing, and production, to ensure successful and profitable shows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event Coordination:
Assist in the planning and coordination of all aspects of live music events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation.
- Artist Liaison:
Maintain communication with artist management, handling inquiries, coordinating schedules, and ensuring rider requirements are met.
- Venue Relations:
Liaise with venue representatives to secure dates, negotiate contracts, and manage on-site logistics.
- Ticketing Support:
Collaborate with the ticketing team to set up and manage ticket sales, including pre-sales, on-sales, and allocation management.
- Marketing and Promotion:
Assist in developing and executing marketing and promotional strategies to maximize ticket sales and audience engagement.
- Budget Management:
Track and manage event budgets, ensuring expenses are within allocated limits and financial reporting is accurate.
- Contract Administration:
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts with artists, venues, and other vendors.
- On-Site Support:
Provide on-site support during events, assisting with artist needs, venue coordination, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential artists and opportunities for new events.
- Administrative Tasks:
Handle general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining organized records.
