Excellent opportunity to join our Construction team as an Account Director!
You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects, focusing on construction projects involving established Real Estate clients, with accountability for client retention and new business development.
You will manage and develop client relationships, grow the portfolio, and target and convert prospects.
The Role
Client Relationship Management
* Understand clients’ business and risk management needs; provide solutions through ongoing service
* Identify primary budget holders and decision makers; establish and maintain relationships
* Provide technical, industry, and subject matter expertise (nationally and overseas)
* Collaborate with specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group
* Liaise with clients to build strong relationships
* Determine solutions, structure, price, and placement strategies to meet client needs and ensure profitability
* Grow existing portfolio by identifying new opportunities
* Lead supporting service teams (not line management)
* Provide renewal documentation with support from CSE and Brokers
* Maintain effective relationships with Loss Management Executives
Business Development
* Drive sales processes for winning, retaining, and developing profitable clients
* Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects; research, initiate contact, hold meetings, respond to RFPs, deliver presentations, and update CRM
* Identify cross-selling opportunities across the business
* Maintain knowledge of Willis products and services
* Network internally and externally with specialists and sector contacts
Placement Management
* Optimize revenue through appropriate placement channels and markets
* Maintain strong relationships with Broking team and market contacts
* Ensure transparency and compliance with FCA and contract certainty requirements
* Ensure accurate data entry and review policies and documentation
* Design programmes and pricing structures based on market and client knowledge
Operational and Service Delivery
* Lead end-to-end client service adhering to policies and standards
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking
* Deliver high levels of client service and ensure profitability
* Develop solutions and proposals to retain clients
* Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
* Manage KPIs/SLAs to meet targets
* Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
* Provide feedback for process improvement and client retention
