Up to £13.00 per hour. Salford, Greater Manchester. Full-Time.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated senior worker to join our physical disabilities services in Salford. Working alongside a Registered Manager, you will assist with the management and delivery of high quality care and support services. You will need to be positive about communicating with and supporting people in a person-centred manner.
Responsibilities
* Lead the team in the absence of the registered manager, accept responsibility and provide clear guidance, supervision and support to the team.
* Communicate positively and professionally with families and professionals, and actively promote consultation and partnership working.
* Assist with the assessment of needs along with positive and proactive risk management so that support planning for individuals demonstrates an active and fulfilling life with a can-do approach.
* Support the delivery of high quality care and support services in collaboration with the Registered Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
* Positive communication and engagement; unconditional positive regard for the people supported.
* Experience in the assessment of needs and risk management.
* Ability to lead a team, provide supervision and support, and communicate professionally with stakeholders.
* Driving licence desirable but not essential.
Training and Development
We will provide relevant training including accredited management training and health and social care diplomas through our own training academy.
