The Senior / Principal Consultant role involves:
* Supporting our London Governance (Compliance & Risk) desk, building meaningful, long-lasting relationships with a vast pool of candidates and a wide range of clients, across Banking, Private Equity, Insurance, Funds Management, Hedge Funds and FinTech.
* Developing excellent knowledge of your specialism, staying up to date with market and industry news
* Providing a consultative service to candidates and clients alike, offering advice and guidance in relation to CV writing, interviewing, career paths, salary benchmarking, team structure and how tailored recruitment solutions can help clients to achieve their strategic business goals
* Market-mapping and building wide talent pools for future vacancies
* Having a broader commercial awareness and recognising potential business opportunities that can be passed on to relevant people throughout the wider business
* Driving the success of your area however you feel is appropriate, contributing to your team’s success with the freedom to explore opportunities and take your role in any direction you choose

To join our team as a Senior / Principal Consultant, we’re looking for:
* Proven achievers in the recruitment world, with 2-6 years’ experience in delivering successful recruitment solutions in the Governance (Compliance or Risk) space.
* Drive and ambition to smash targets and achieve continuous progression and development, ultimately carving out a successful recruitment career
* Sociable and strong communicators; confident in conversing with all levels of candidate and client, and forming strong, lasting and trusting relationships
* Passion for operating with honesty, professionalism and integrity
* Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
* Ability to utilise recruitment tools and websites
* Ability to understand and follow complex recruitment processes
