Join our client, one of the UK’s leading housebuilders, as an Assistant Site Manager on an exciting new development in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
About the Role:
As an Assistant Site Manager, you’ll support the Site Manager in delivering high-quality new homes safely, on time, and within budget. You'll play a key role in supervising day-to-day site operations, managing trades and subcontractors, and ensuring all work meets NHBC standards and our own exacting quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of site management from groundworks through to handover
Maintain high standards of health & safety, ensuring all works comply with legislation
Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression
Conduct quality checks and snagging to ensure exceptional finish
Communicate with customers, suppliers, and the wider Allison Homes team
Report progress and resolve issues proactively
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a similar role within residential construction
SMSTS or SSSTS, First Aid and CSCS card required
Strong understanding of NHBC standards and building regulations
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
