* Lead and drive Procurement Strategy across project and initiatives.
* Establish, build, and maintain collaborative relationships with all key suppliers.
* Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers to secure savings.
* Provide material and goods projections to key suppliers to ensure availability on a timely basis.
* Drive and support Category management ensuring utilisation and maximisation of group frameworks.
* Promote and support the use of internal businesses and ensure their inclusion in all tender opportunities.
* Ensure Procurement leads sub-contract procurement across the business.
* Support the Work Winning teams and ensure Procurement Strategies are in place.
* Manage the Procurement team group-wide, including recruitment, staff development, and budget management.
* Ensure compliance with procedural, regulatory, quality, environmental, and CSR policies.
* Collaborate with operational management and the supply chain to identify innovation and source new materials and methods.
* Advocate for Procurement, influence senior managers, and lead benefits realisation.
* Lead upskilling and training within the Procurement team.
* Lead client-facing activities across regional projects.
* Resolve discrepancies with suppliers, grievances, claims, conflicts, and quality issues.
* Manage corporate initiatives with the supply chain.
* Maintain supplier evaluation forms and risk assessments.
Qualifications
* CIPS Qualified
* Experience in construction/engineering or similar background.
* Strategically minded, creative, and able to translate vision into plans.
* Experience managing a Procurement team within the Construction industry.
* Experience running supply chain events.
* Familiarity with tendering processes (e.g., CompeteFor).
* Good IT and communication skills at all levels.
* Strong financial and commercial awareness.
* Change management experience.
