The post involves undertaking assigned tasks that involve direct resident care in a care home setting. Responsibilities include supporting residents in all aspects of their care as outlined in their individual care plans, reporting relevant changes to qualified staff, and assisting in the physical and mental health support of residents, including those with challenging behaviors. The role promotes person-centered care and supports residents to be socially inclusive, working within the Recovery Model to uphold high standards of care.
The post requires flexibility to work within a 24/7 service, 365 days a year, as per rota.

The Mid and South Essex ICS collaborates with local health and care organizations to improve services. As part of this initiative, successful candidates will attend a 5-day face-to-face Induction Programme at Brentwood Community Hospital, followed by additional mandatory training.
