Leading US Law Firm are seeking an Attorney Development Manager to join them in their London office on a permanent basis. This role will oversee all professional development for all levels of attorney in the firm even down to trainee level.
Salary £100-120,000

The Attorney Development Manager will work closely with the US office dealing with on/offboarding, ER, performance reviews, mentoring, training and more.
Duties of the Attorney Development Manager:
* Oversee incoming legal talent and assist and monitor their integration into the firm.
* Work with HR team and global team to manage all performance review processes, and any ER cases.
* Creating and implementing professional development programmes, retention initiatives and coordinate training needs & coaching.
* Manage the mentor program.
* Monitor time, attendance, overtime, expenses and ensure adherence to firm policies.
* Duty to understand and develop knowledge of the firms practices, staff, knowledge and wider industry knowledge.
* Engage in strategic planning.
Requirements for the Attorney Development Manager:
* Be degree educated, ideally a legal degree although not essential
* Minimum 6 years attorney development or HR experience, within a Law Firm preferred.
* Proven working knowledge of the industry, best practices and techniques for successful development.
* Knowledge of relevant software (Workday, Micron CE Manager, viDesktop) with ability to pick up new programmes.
* Knowledge of budgeting process.
* Ability to work and engage with staff members of varying seniority and roles
* Strong time-management skills.
