Driven by an unparalleled commitment to building understanding between cultures and a more sustainable world, Manchester Museum, part of the University of Manchester, was recently awarded European Museum of the Year 2025. We aspire to be the most imaginative, inclusive and caring museum you will ever visit. Nearly 2 million people have visited since the museum reopened after a major values-led and co-created capital transformation in February 2023.
The community co-curated South Asia Gallery seeks to reach out to the diverse communities it serves. We’re looking for somebody with experience of working with South Asian communities and cultures but no previous history of working in a museum is required.
