Description
The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
* Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant standards.
* Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
* Oversee reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities across the department.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
* Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to senior management.
* Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should be:
* Working towards a recognised accounting qualification or equivalent experience in the field.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proven ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
