The Opportunity The Business Intelligence (BI) Team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organisation's data literacy, data maturity, and data insights. The solutions provided by the team support all business units and aspects of the value chain, from managing whisky stocks to analysing sales force insights and consumer demand. The BI Developer role is essential in delivering meaningful insights that drive strategic decisions. Join us as we migrate our platform to Microsoft Fabric. What you will be doing Collaborating with Business Analysts and Technical Business Analysts, you will design and implement data and reporting solutions. Working across several business units and multiple data sources, you will build ETL processes and data models to address technical gaps. As a BI Developer within GTS, you will be proficient with Microsoft BI tools, skilled in data analysis, and confident in communicating discrepancies to stakeholders. About you You have played a role in the implementation of a BI or Data Platform and possess knowledge and experience in the following areas: ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Data Factory, and Databricks. Data Warehousing: Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. Data Governance: Understanding of data governance principles to ensure data quality and compliance. Report Visualization: Knowledge of Power BI and DAX. Documentation: Proficiency in documenting processes, models, and solutions. Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
