How you will make an impact:
You will participate in a wide range of maintenance activities across our production footprint, collaborating with colleagues at multiple levels to ensure a robust production facility for our clients. You will be responsible for both planned and unplanned maintenance, focusing on improving equipment reliability and minimizing downtime through operational excellence and continuous improvement activities.
What you’ll do:
* Engage in problem-solving during maintenance incidents, applying lean manufacturing techniques to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Drive improvements in maintenance efficiency, uphold high standards of 5S, and reduce waste. Participate in upgrading and improving equipment or engaging in projects.
* Complete and improve documentation such as Change Controls and Validation documents, highlighting errors and suggesting improvements. Lead documentation processes through to completion.
* Coordinate external resources for services and components, generate and complete necessary documentation like Purchase Orders and spares requests.
* Manage spares inventory efficiently.
* Ensure timely completion of personal activities such as PPM, Deviations, Change Controls, and Training. Maintain current aseptic licenses as required.
* Write clear maintenance instructions and assist in training staff as needed.
* Provide cover for team members, including Technical Specialists and Engineering Coordinators, when necessary.
* Follow safety procedures, ensure compliance with EHS and security policies, and report incidents promptly.
What we need from you:
* A multi-skilled engineer with good understanding of electrical control and automated systems.
* Technical skills at HND level or higher, with experience in a manufacturing environment.
* A proactive, logical approach to problem-solving, utilizing lean philosophies.
* Support for Manufacturing through the Engineering Call-Out process (compensated).
* Ability to meet critical timelines and communicate effectively.
* Compliance with standards in a COMAH environment is essential.
