All About the Role
Based at our Bristol site, we have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative. The purpose of this role is to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment. The hours will be: 14:00 – 22:00, Monday to Friday.
Specific tasks could include:
* Operating band and circular saws, but will also need to complete general warehouse duties as instructed by the supervisor or manager,
* Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item
* Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
* Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
* Operate saws and handle steel
* Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks
* Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders.
* Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
* Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements

You will have the passion, drive, and confidence to work within the business in a collaborative, creative way.
Essential Skills for the role:
* Experience with bandsaws/similar machinery but not essential as training will be given.
* Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
* Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader but not essential as training will be given.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Work safely to procedures.
* Ability to work on own.
* Understand process notes.
* Able to use measuring equipment.
* Working to deadlines.
