Your new roleAs a Health & Safety Officer, you will support the implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring legal obligations are met and the well-being of the workforce is prioritised. Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing advice and guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees
2. Policy setting and implementation
3. Conducting Health & Safety inspections and investigations
4. Assisting with internal audits and supporting external audits
5. Delivering in-house training and coordinating external training
6. Preparing reports and maintainingpliance records
You may also be required to work across different departments and locations as needed.
What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you should have:
7. NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
8. Degree in a relevant discipline (preferred)
9. Relevant training qualification
10. 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role or demonstrable knowledge and ability
11. Strongmunication skills and ability to work independently
12. Flexibility to meet business needs
13. Driving licence and access to transport
