Our client is seeking a Registered Manager to work in their Children service. The ideal candidate must hold a Children Level 5 in Health and Social Care. They are seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead their dedicated team in providing exceptional support for children and young people. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of residential childcare regulations, Ofsted, and a commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for children. You'll play a key role in shaping the home's culture, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards, and driving positive outcomes for the children in their care. Essential: NVQ Level 4/5 in Health and Social Care/ Children and Young Adults (Or Equivalent). Proven experience in a managerial role with children and young adults in a supported living setting. Experience supporting children and young adults with complex behaviours and backgrounds. Strong leadership, management, and supervisory skills. Experience managing support staff, implementing support plans, and ensuring Ofsted compliance. Managing a maximum of 2-3 young people. Desirable: Completed or working towards level 5 Diploma Leadership and Management for Children Health and Social Care or equivalent. Previous experience working with children, young people and multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge, experience and understanding Ofsted Processes. Other Requirements: Enhanced DBS Check required. Will mainly work Monday to Friday, 40hr a week, however flexibility to occasionally work weekend and nights is required. Must have right to work.
